The Bolga Basket has been one of the mainstays of Asylum Down's importing for over 20 years. It is a very sturdy hand-woven straw basket with a design of bright colors. The handle has been reinforced with leather. You'll have to let us choose the design but we'll try to satisfy your color preferences.

We call these the Fruit Basket. They are shallow platters woven of the same straw as the Bolga basket. They don't come in the color variety of the Bolgas so you'll have to ask about what colors are available.

This wonderful basket is the Oval Basket With Handles. It is quite sturdy and has straight sides that hold their shape. It comes in varying patterns of natural, green and blue in one size only.

This is the Burkina Faso Basket. Burkina Faso is a land-locked country north of Ghana. This basket is much firmer than the Bolga basket and has a hard bottom made of leather and fiber. It retains its shape because of the hard fiber and weaving. The geometric design is woven in and leather is used for accents. It's a great waste basket or magazine holder.
